"A Kennedy Celebration" was created by Jacques Lowe especially for the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, earlier site of the Dallas Book Depository and now a museum honoring John F. Kennedy.
The calendar is divided into twenty-four by weekly sections, each containing a large photograph and a smaller one, forty-eight images in all. Each of the year's 365 days contains a text describing at least one, on some days up to three historic Kennedy related data starting with the family's immigration from Ireland to the United States through to the fateful date of November 23, 1963 and the recent tragic death of John F. Kennedy Jr., information equivalent to full sized book.
Interspersed are excerpts from John F. Kennedy's and Robert F. Kennedy's speeches including the New Frontier speech and the Inaugural address. The calendar has become a run-away bestseller and cherished collecter's item.
